POST Courrier, the mail and logistics division of POST Group, has successfully implemented over the last years strong warehousing and logistics activities in Luxembourg. Handling mail and commercial cargo at its hub by the airport has become a key pillar of its service portfolio. To strengthen the logistics team, we are currently looking for a Business IT Manager  (m/f)        

Missions

  • Analyze business needs in order to develop and implement the IT strategy with processes and service levels related to the superseding logistics business strategy
  • Manage information technology and computer systems by supervising configuration and installation of hardware, software and telecommunications systems and equipment
  • Ensure security of data, network access, backup systems and redundancy strategies
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and systems to enhance technology services or replace failing resources
  • Manage a small team of IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Be responsible of contracts, Licenses, SLA, Process and procedures, company’s devices
  • Provide senior level support for customers issue resolution and performs high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measure

Profile

  • Have a Master degree (Bac + 5) in Computer Science combined with a proven experience in programming and business analyses within the Logistics sector
  • Have proven experience in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments
  • Have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
  • Have a good understanding of web development such as XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Be proficient in MS Office with an advanced level in Excel
  • Have a hands-on attitude with an international and analytical mindset to proactively ensure benchmark and meet providers
  • Have excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Be detail-oriented and performance driven
  • Be fluent in English and German, French and Luxembourgish would be considered as an asset
